Review 1: This recipe is incredible from a flavor standpoint, but the original canned biscuit dough and margarine are pretty processed and unhealthy. If you don’t want to make dough from scratch, you can easily swap in a 1-pound defrosted loaf of frozen bread dough (no extra rising required), and swap margarine for real butter. Personally, I make it even healthier by using a whole wheat homemade dough, organic sugar, and a 50/50 blend of light neutral olive oil and butter. Even if you don’t worry about hydrogenated fats, this is still such a yummy treat!
Review 2: This turned out so delicious! I didn’t have a bundt pan available, so I used a 9x13 inch pan when my husband brought these into work to share. I absolutely loved the gooey sugar sauce.
Review 3: This is such a solid recipe, I’ve been making it for special breakfast and brunch occasions for years. It’s best served warm and fresh right after baking, and people never get enough of it. A quick pro tip: kitchen scissors work perfectly for cutting up the biscuits quickly and cleanly.
Review 4: This was so easy and absolutely delicious. It also looks so impressive when you serve it – everyone thought I spent hours working on it in the kitchen :-) Thank you for sharing!
Review 5: My whole family and I love this recipe! It’s quick and simple to pull together, and it’s gone almost immediately after it comes out of the oven! :) So delicious!

About This Recipe (Submitted by the creator)
This recipe was shared by a home cook who shares their cooking background:
I’m just a simple cook who loves making food. I’ve always found it so satisfying to take a few basic ingredients that don’t feel like much on their own, and combine them into a warm, nourishing meal. I raised 5 sons, and they’re all grown now, so I’ve cooked thousands of meals over the years. I still love cooking, but I don’t do it as often as I used to. My absolute favorite meal is fried pork chops with mashed potatoes and gravy, with spaghetti a very close second. These days I prefer easy, low-fuss recipes – if it’s too complicated, I probably won’t bother putting in the work.
