Recipe Basics

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes

  • Yield: 1 portion

  • Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional add-in)

  • ½ cup almond milk

  • 1 tablespoon clear honey

  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds

  • 5 fresh strawberries (adjust quantity to taste)

  • 3 fresh blackberries (optional)

  • ½ tablespoon white chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Add the rolled oats and optional chia seeds to an airtight, lidded container (a standard mason jar works perfectly for this recipe).

  2. Stir the almond milk and honey together in a small bowl until fully combined, then pour the mixture over the oats. Stir thoroughly to make sure every oat is coated in liquid, and the honey is evenly mixed in for consistent sweetness in every bite.

  3. Add the sliced almonds: you can either mix them into the oat base or layer them on top of the oat mixture. Next, add your sliced strawberries and optional blackberries (or any other fresh berries you prefer) to the top.

  4. Finish the prep by sprinkling the white chocolate sprinkles (or chopped white chocolate morsels, if you prefer a chunkier texture) over the fruit layer.

  5. Seal the container and chill it in the refrigerator overnight. Serve and enjoy the ready-to-eat oats the next morning!
