Creamy, velvety, luxuriously rich, and surprisingly simple to whip up, this peach ice cream gets its unbeatable bright, fresh flavor from homemade fresh peach puree. You can easily adjust the amount of sugar to match the natural sweetness of your peaches, so it never turns out too sweet or too bland. It’s the perfect homemade summer treat to cool down on hot days!

Ingredients
Adjust batch size: ½x 1x 2x
3 ½ cups white sugar, or to taste
6 large eggs, beaten
10 fresh ripe peaches, pitted and chopped
4 cups heavy cream
2 cups half-and-half cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
¾ teaspoon salt
Directions
Gather all your ingredients before you begin prep.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar and beaten eggs, mixing until the mixture is completely smooth.
Turn the chopped peaches into a smooth puree using a blender or food processor. Stir 5 cups of the fresh peach puree into your egg mixture, then add the heavy cream, half-and-half, vanilla extract, and salt, mixing until all ingredients are fully combined.
Pour the finished ice cream base into an ice cream maker and freeze per the manufacturer’s instructions, which takes roughly 20 minutes of churning.
Transfer the churned soft ice cream to an airtight, freezer-safe container, and freeze for an additional 2 to 4 hours until it firms up to your desired consistency. Serve and enjoy!
